The progress from last update to now, starting with Faisal retargeting the main character finger gun animations and properly having the fingers not look broken when he first tried retargeting them. Faisal also added in a laser blast and explosion when shooting. Benjamin had implemented a invisible box around the carpet in the moms room that forces players to stay inside the box to fight the bed monster boss. We had a last minute decision, but Colton created a username mechanic to let players add a username above the player icon. For our HUD design, Connor created the layout of how it would look, Emma created the 2D outline of the stuffed animals to collect, and Benjamin created the player icon, added the tasks/objective chalkboard and detailed the stuffed animals. Our level designers are fixing up minor things in the levels, like changing the wall materials for a lot of the rooms.
As our deadline approaches in 2 weeks, we are about more than 75% done with what our goal of the objective we created at the beginning of the semester. The RTR group as well of creating cutscenes to give the game that extra boost if spicing up our game, and us being on our last pass we have to fix the levels in our sequence, fix camera movements, and finish adding the others into the game. This is our final stretch to fix some blueprinting errors, add audio, and final lighting in the levels as well as creating our trailer and poster for the showcase.
